Sore this morning for some reason. Must be those pretzel positions I have to get into at work.

    Someone needs a build sheet?

The ACOG is an incredible piece, the clarity is very good, I have one on a match rifle. Are they worth the +1k? Are you gonna shoot the piss outta this rifle, I do with mine. I wear parts out, the ACOG will outlast my rifle.

If yer planning to go shootin every once in awhile and havin some fun at the range, look into the Vortex glass. They have a 6x PST that I’ve checked out, or for longer range I would suggest the 2.5x10 PST. I have the Gen1 PST 4x16 on my DMR, it’s worked really well gettin kicked around for +8yrs and ifen I do have a problem with it they’ll replace it.

My “heavy” DMR rifle cocked, locked & ready for business weighs 10.5lb, my “light” RECCE rifle weighs 9.5lb. The weight helps dissipate the recoil (not that the 556 hits like a mule) but it does have a fairly snappy recoil due to the bolt cyclin. The high-power match guns are typically 12-14lbs because they add weight to balance em out. They also want as little movement as possible, they are not allowed to use muzzle devices other than the A-2 bird cage.

    Good morning all.

I've been called up from the minors to perform today's morning meeting. The boss is coming in late. As soon as she's in, back to the dugout, or bench, or pits, or shore, whatever sport analogy you're in to...

I see a detailed report in triplicate on her desk by noon coming. And a detailed report back on said report for spelling and punctuation as well as detailed itemized list of what you did wrong.
Just throw a donut party .....

"Fart Meeting" is what we called those.
the meeting, like a fart, lingers around a few minutes and is commented on, but is soon forgotten.:blahblah:
