I have a set of 285/70/17 STT PROS and I was wondering if I wrap them on a 17x9 1mm offset 5"bs wheel, will I have issues with rubbing? I have a 3" lift with 1.25 wheel spacers. I wanna pull the trigger on the wheels, but want more insight on what to expect with rubbing issues. Thanks!

Damn I really wish Cooper made these ST Pros in 285/75r17 (34x11). Since they do have this size in the ST Maxx I emailed them... and no response!

Why not just do the 285/70/17s...diff differ is not even noticable?

I assume you all can't be regearing..? Im in a 2011 DCSB Manual decently loaded with gear. When I went to 10ply 265/70/17 I definitely noticed a loss of power. Hesitant to go to 285 due to the headache of rubbing.

In the ST Maxx 285/75 is a full inch larger overall diameter then 285/70 according to their spec charts: 34.06 X 11.1 (285/75) vs 32.99 x 11.5 (285/70).

I went from 373's to 410's on my automatic. With 285/75r16's gearing is within 200 rpm of stock tire/stock gear @ 55mph.

Do you have spacers or aftermarket UCA's. I read earlier today that 285s were too wide and would rub on stock UCA's.

    Thank you!
They are so much more attractive in person. Really a great looking and wheel. I ordered them with only a picture from the internet. So happy so far.

New wheels! 2nd set of STT PRO's. 285/75r16's. Tires are awesome. Wheels totally transformed the look! 1" wider wheels give the tire a better look. All in all...I'm pleased!
