    long story short
My rear end on my truck is fragged

I am not trying to dump much if any money at all into it because I am trying to do a full aftermarket replacement rear end from Currie.

    But
After having transport set up from the truck to get it to the shop it needs to go to and having the person bail I am now missing 1100$

So now I need to get the truck moving for as little as possible so I can drive it there.

So here is what I am looking for

I am looking for your factory gears that you have upgraded

Specifically the gears from a 2016 or 2017 TRD Sport 4x4

The diff size between the sport and offroad are different so it needs to be a sport

    Like I said
I am hoping to spend as little as possible if any money at all

If you can help out I'd appreciate it

I have my Factory Gears front and back from my 2017 TrD Off Road if you are interested and cannot get someone to sell you their sport Gears. When I upgraded my gears to 4.88; I put my factory ones in the box to sell later. Let me know

The offroad and the sport have different sized differentials so they are not compatible to the best of my knowledge

Not trying to thread jack, but did toyota swap the rear diff sizes around on the 3rd gens? I know for 2nd gens it was the offroad that had the 8inch rear while the sports and other models had a 8.75.

Just curious as it would make sense for the OR to have a bigger rear end

    @Caboose117

You paid someone to transport the truck, then they took the money and bailed on you?

I've followed a little bit of your story with your build and what you are about. Sounds like you are getting the shitty end of the stick.

Maybe the TW mafia can dig this low life back up and either get your money back or figure out a way to TW Express your truck.

Everything with a V6 Manual has a 8.75 rear... everything with a rear locker has an 8.75

That I think covers all the options. So Sport M/T thru Pro all have the 8.75 rear is my understanding.

Prolly could get a rear at a junk yard or salvage - just have to pay shipping. Good opportunity to upgrade to the 8.75 rear too.

I have a modified suspension set up that won't allow for a direct bolt in replacement from a junk yard
The truck needs to be running enough so I can get it from Kentucky to California so I can have this put in and never worry about it again IMG_5755.jpg

    He is in the wind?

There are people on here that are good at digging people up.

I hate it for you. The truck has to go from where, to where?

The only reason I haven't escalated things is because the guy is a Vietnam Army Vet and it is honor code not to fuck with another veteran.

He may be lacking on his honor right now but I'm not

I may have missed this somewhere, but can the Currie setup be shipped to Ky? Would it be less expensive to have it shipped and installed east coast? Or are you staying in Cali. when it is through?
