Can you guys keep an eye out for me for a used camper top for a 3rd gen long bed? I'd like to buy used b/c I don't plan on keeping it more than a year or two. I will eventually go with one of the pop-up shells like GFC after they have been out on the market for a year or two. In the mean time I need something to protect my gear and lockable. I am considering a Softtoper in case I can't find a hard shell to keep the initial investment down...

I volunteered to be the HOA President in our neighborhood because the prior boards continued to embezzle money and never improve the community. I wanted to put a stop to it because I sure as hell didn't want to pay dues that were just being thrown away or stolen. What a mistake that was! People are lazy as shit and very rude. I have made tons of positive improvements since the first of the year, got the budget straightened out and seemed to have, for the most part, turned the attitudes around from the general public on their opinion on the board. I can see why the homeowners were so against the HOA in the past. A lot of people dislike HOA's, I moved here because it was a safe and clean neighborhood for my kids to grow up in. Issue is the majority of HOA's have power trips and become complacent assholes.

White would be ideal... but I am considering spraying it with Line-X or (similar) so I am not all that picky.

Sounds good. I’ll keep my eye open! It’s too bad you didn’t ask a few months ago. There was one that fit your wants perfectly that was only $1200 and was listed for months. I’ll keep an eye out.

If u have an airflow snorkel and ur out driving keep a screw driver handy. The thick snow likes to build up in the bonnet.20180321_094332.jpg

I'm the vice president of my community. President is such a hard job to find people to volunteer for because of a lot of the things you mentioned. We aren't even a HOA. Just a community association. Still face the same challenges.

Supposedly it creates a void or whatever the terminology is and the engine doesn’t get enough air that way. With that said I’ve seen a few people run it that way with no ill effects.
