The Line-X I am almost 100% confident I could take a hammer and sharp chisel to it with almost no effect except damaging the chisel. I don't know what that stuff is technically, but man, it's rugged.

People also want Floor mats and mud flaps...both are options, even if mud flaps are required by law in Massachusetts...

 

Could be a good option for a show truck. For a bed that's going to get actually used, I can't see it being a good idea.

I have a 90lb lab that's like that. It's a wrestling match with him every time I have to clean his ears. Towards the end, he's wagging his tail, I think it's just like a game for him.

 

Yes, I ordered floor liners with my truck and plan on getting at least rear mud flaps.

But, that law in MA doesn't actually pertain to passenger vehicles:
"Every motor vehicle or trailer, excepting passenger motor vehicles, operated in or upon any way shall be equipped with suitable guards which will effectively reduce the spray or splash to the rear of mud, water or slush caused by the rear wheels thereof. "

...and:
A private passenger motor vehicle for registration purposes is any vehicle: (a) which has a vehicle weight rating or curb weight of six thousand pounds or less as per manufacturer's description of said vehicle or is a sport utility vehicle or passenger van; or which is a pickup truck or cargo van of the ½ TON, ¾ TON or 1 TON class as per manufacturer's description of said vehicle; or which is a vehicle used solely for official business by any college or university police department whose officers are appointed as special police officers by the colonel of the state police under M.G.L. c. 22C, § 63; and, (b) which, if a pickup truck or cargo van, is registered or leased to an individual, and is used exclusively for personal, recreational, or commuting purposes; and, (c) which, other than a Personal Transportation Network Vehicle, is not described in elsewhere in 540 CMR 2.05.

 

Does MA do combination plates?

 

Not that I know of. It's commercial or passenger.

They're tough about commercial. I've known people with decals on their personal car for a little home business get pulled over and told they need to register them as commercial.

 

Had to leave work and rush to the doc office... kiddo threw up at the inlaws, and fever got worse.

Ran to the doc, FIL met me there. Ear infection on the left and possibly strep, which they did the test for but didn't even bother waiting for the results because his tonsils looked bad. On meds now.

 

Poor kiddo!
