I've noticed that Ray10s tend to collect water on the bottom of the wheel. Here's a couple of questions to all Ray10 owners :
    1. Once you start driving with water it goes right away or keeps on circling for awhile?
    2. Does the wheel collect sand, gravel and other garbage along with water?
    3. If I leave it sitting there for a few months would that make some damage to the wheel finishing or color fading?
    Thanks

I have stealth 6s and all of them have rock damage due to my own driving inadequacies on the trail some damage is over six months old has survived a new England winter with no corrosion. I think you are definitely safe from any corrosion worries

I have Ray10s and yes the water does stay there when driving. I keep a rag with me to wipe up the water. Also then use wet rag to clean whole wheel. I don't know about winter corrosion, put stock rims on for winter.

OP, if you plan to have the truck sit for months at a time I would just wipe them clean after washing it or whatnot. I used to be concerned about the water puddles when they sit, but after some wheeling scratches its just a water stain to me at this point. I think you would be fine long term wise whether you were proactive with the puddles or not.

My Method NV's do the same thing, kind of annoys me.

Oh man both are similar designs. Where does the water pool on the wheel? On the inside lip?

I've noticed this as well on my Ray 10s. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just don't let the water sit for more than a couple days if you are worried about the paint.

For what its worth...my xs650 chopper has the same issue. Consequently the xs650 community has dubbed the rims "rain catchers".

Its an alluminum rim so shouldnt have to worry about rust but if you get a lot of snow in there, will throw the balance of your wheels off

Oh I see your point. If the water freezes overnight you don't want to chisel it out or something. You gotta drive with it. Will probably create some vibration.

The little water is not noticable. I went playing in snow and it got caked in there. Wibble pretty bad then

    1. Keeps circling, bugs the hell out of me
    2. Yes
    3. Probably

I just keep a rag in my truck and after I am done washing it, I just soak up the water real quick.

I was thinking to keep those wheels year round. So water is always there on the rainy day? Driving or not?

Those are not cheap wheels plus it's a pain to get them. Would be nice if they last. That's my concern. Wiping them off is one way but I live in the area with a lot of rain. I don't think I want to run around with my rag all the time

Rag is cheap way to go but if you dont want to run them half the year, whyd you get them u know? Guys go offroading with them so i figure city driving all year round is fine

Ive always hated this about the Ray 10s, seems to be a design flaw to me. With that mentioned, Ive never had an issue with it just sitting in there, rain, snow, salty shit water, no issues, clean right up like it was never there. I have noticed with snow packed in there it will get quite wobbly.

My SR8's also collect water, I noticed it the second day I had the truck. I am a little concerned about dirt/sand in that water scuffing/scratching but not enough to wipe the water out. Rocks/gravel, I'm getting those out for sure.
