Slows down the board by forcing water into the tunnel?

So I saw this in Costa Rica and decided to steal the idea. Made a pvc water tube for the roof rack for rinsing off post surf. 4" pvc, not sure how many gallons it holds but I can run a steady stream for over two minutes so plenty enough for me.

I work remote 3-4 days a week and don’t start till 9. Which leaves plenty of time for a morning sesh. Going to look at apartments right now.

I really like it. I thought about pressuring it but it does pretty well with just gravity. I added some rubber under the front fill area to make it a little bit higher so it should flow pretty well. Going to pale out after work and get to try it out after that. I want to go wheeling now to see how it holds up off-road. I'm hoping it will hold up.

It's functional for sure but I'm building the truck to handle Baja. If it cracks and breaks from washboard roads that would suck. I'm doing the Mojave trail in May so that should be a little test for it

So the "shower" worked perfect. Had enough water to rinse of my suit, board and myself and still have some left.

These are very popular in Baja and they hold up well. Problem is when you are remote they don't hold a lot of water and tough to refill when you are in the middle of nowhere.
They make great propane heated water showers these days that are real nice.

It holds 5 gallons so definitely not a ton of water but should suffice. I used scraps from my construction site, I'm sure there are better options for purchase but I'm good with free 99
