The fact that the brackets are not welded to the pipe would be enough to not want those.

Just put some on my Tundra couple weeks ago, and are actually really good quality. All hardware is good and the steps are pretty stout. I really like them. Just need to hit the bolt heads with some black paint and would be good to go.

I bought a set a little while ago, but haven't installed them yet. I did put some boiled linseed oil inside them to help with the possibility of rusting. Have to be careful not to get it all over everything though. Also purchased stainless steel bolts and washers. Once the weather breaks, I hope to get them on. For me, they are mainly to keep some of the snow and salt off the sides of the truck.

6inch lift sitting on bilstein coilovers. Lexus is300 studs in front to keep stock wheels, general grabber red letters, nfab front bumper.
Another vote for the nfab. I love mine, but they came with the truck. Would love an actual pair of weld on sliders.

how stout is stout? strong enough to stand on? these look plenty good enough considering the price of the nfabs.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Guess my only hang up on them is like the other poster said, the brackets not being welded to the pipe. Just concerned about strength for the bolt on brackets, though I'm not trying to hold a gorilla on them. Just my 190lb self.

The bolts that are supplied are very strong. Come with thick washer and lock washer too. I’m well above 190lbs and they support me without issue.

Went ahead and ordered a pair last night. Was kind of iffy since they were only $141.98 shipping included but had good reviews. I guess we will see when they get here next week. Will update once installed.
