I found out the hard way that if you are talking about gigabit internet, you need DOCSIS 3.1

I’m ready to find a new owner for my All Pro bed rack. All it needs is a fresh coat of paint (or not). It is off the truck and ready to go. Comes with all hardware. I can get more detailed pictures or different angles if someone wants. $250

I have a Motorolla SB6120 (DOCSIS 3.0) I had listed for $20, for you, 10 dollah if you want it (and I will not be offended if you don't want to pay anything and pass). It doesn't have a built-in wireless.

2.0 tops out at 40Mbps down. 3.0 tops out at 1 gig down, but it's up to the providers and their configuration as to what you can actually get. With that modem, Comcast has told me for years it was 'end of life' and 'not supported' but it works fine (every time they blamed my modem, every time they came out and replaced wiring outside the house, and the last time I had to go get one of their modems for a week and demonstrate it had the same damn issue before going back to my modem). However, I think they most they let the speed hit is like 75 Mbps. I do know that it won't hit the full 150 Mbps speed that they have or had at the time I investigated the issue.

If you want full (higher) speeds from Comcast, you will need a newer modem, and they may be requiring/spec'ing 3.1 now.

yeah, that's valid. I wouldn't want lil Chris junior running around in this thing either since it's not car seat friendly :)

(I'm assuming the carseat is not for your wife :luvya:)

$1000 for a Sky's SAS kit, another $1000 in craigslist parts and you could have a SAS 4wd... I might still go that route and leave my Taco as-is.

If you're having similar thoughts I have a set of 38.5" Swamper rollers in storage off my Jeep than I could throw in too

Sounds tempting, although with all the money I spend on my DD I'm pretty sure I would need to make plans to live out of the truck as well...because wife.
