What is your tire size? I love my BFG KO2's. Though, they are for off roading.

Too little info to make a tire suggestion. What do you want the tires to do? How much of your driving is highway/paved roads? Any off roading? How often? Do you you drive in mud or snow? Do you haul heavy loads, do you tow trailers? Do you want a/t’s or street tires? Do you want mudders or ??? Give us a little info so a thoughtful suggestion can be made.
Also you will probably get a thousand suggestions. Most everyone is going to suggest exactly what ever they have on their truck.

For Highway w/ up-to moderate snow conditions, I can recommend Michelin Defender LTX MS. These are the LTX MS2 replacements, which were great tires for the 3 years I ran them. I never had the unwanted ABS slide experience in reasonably slow conditions once I had the MS2's and still haven't had one this winter with the Defender LTX MS.

If you have to deal with snow, and don't want to deal with changing snow wheels (or you're patiently waiting until your stock wheels look like shit to make those your snow wheels :) ), these are the tire to get. Great grip in the dry, great wet handling. Only thing I don't like is that they are done exactly at 3 years if you drive them every day.

The tire size is P245/75/R16, BF Goodrich, with 52k miles. I just purchased it and the suspension front springs and shocks are new. The prior owner rotated and balanced the set but the back tires are cupped due to prior mis alignment and bad shocks etc. I drive on Texas city and highways and streets and rarely off road. No snow occasional ice.

Unless you just like the looks of a/t’s or more aggressive tires then any good set of well known brand street tires should do you just fine. Michellin, BFG, Good Year, Toyo, General etc. etc. etc.

Not necessarily you can get AT tires with far less ply vs a road tire, all depends on load rating.

Im actually really regretting my LT265/75R16 load range C Cooper AT3's... even though they are a standard 6 ply tire, they are just heavy... im down probably 1.5avg mpg cus of them, and recently i took a step back and realized, I might actually go back to complete stock on my truck with skinny 245/75R16's in the Michelin Defender LTX MS tires as stated they are the best highway tire with amazing light snow and ice / wet traction you can have

mbrogz3000 said get the Michelins, I get 100K milage per set. Look at the ratings on tirerack.com. Best tire for snow and rain and most milage and the least problems balancing.

Michelin Defender LTX MS. Enough said. Just buy them and stop wasting your time.

Dont get copper AT3 unless you like messing with your MPG. Overrated, way too heavy, not sure why people buy them to be honest.

I found that the Faulken Wildpeak HT is a great tire. I ran them through sand, mud and the Nor-eastern we just had in NJ. My wife has a junk BMW and I try to spend as little as possible on it. I bought faulken tires off eBay to save some money and 3 years later that still look and perform well so thats why I bought them for my truck. The best part about the Faulkens is you can shop online and find them for under 100$ each. They are awesome for the price and very quiet on the highway.

I will agree, like stated it robbed me of ~ 1.5mpgs staying at the same 265/75R16 size i had before in a 39LB Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10.... but the AT3's have been doing great in the wet and snow / ice of this season, much better than the hankooks.

But in the end, i really wish i had gone smaller than my stock size, (265/70R16) down to a 245/75R16 of the michline defender for ultimate MPG highway mile queen.

I swapped out the stock 265/70/15 8 ply BFG AT's for Firestone Destination AT's P265/75/15 They are much smoother on the road, work well in the snow and I've had zero issues with loads or towing. Put the BFG's on my work truck which needed tires, they are much better on the heavier Tundra than they were on the Taco.
