Can someone recommend a UCA with an understated appearance? Something that isn't shiny, blue, chrome, or with a big word written on the side? I guess I'm just looking for something black but that would allow more travel than the stockers.

Well, enough droop to get over a speed bump would have been nice ... I feel like I’ll destroy the stock UCA is short time ... when I do, I guess I’ll get some better UCAs.

I thought the same thing, however, I think after going with a performance UCA, we’ll be wayyyy better off...

FYI: Attached is my alignment sheet from Toyota ...

Since now I have to buy some UCA, I was thinking of a pair from “SPC”, borderline stock looking.

    http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/suspension_pieces_ifs_arms.htm

I would prefer stock UCA, just reangled for a little more droop, I’m sure the stock ball joint can handle the total articulation, just not the range we run with a lift.

Correct, this is for the front. Rear 5160’s with this kit give no lift. I’ll be going with the HS progressive aal for the rear lift.... ~1.5” lift (no overload leaf)

I’m going to drive with this kit a few more miles and see if it settles. I’d like at least 2.5 caster....at 2.75” lift, I doubt I can get that out of the stock uca’s. I have Spc light racing uca’s on my 4runner so I’ll go that route on this access cab if needed. I had a 2007 double cab (5100’s @1.75”) that I could only get 1.5 caster (stock uca’s) and hated how it drove on the highway....constantly correcting steering.

I have zero issues with steering, but this is my first IFS 4x4, I fought hard to always have a solid axle rig. A losing battle.

All JBA UCA can be purchased “unassembled and un-coated” so you can paint them black, or any color you’d like.

I saw one on the Minneapolis Craigslist page for $800 yesterday. Not sure if it’s still available.
