Looking for people pics of people that used the H4 adapter with their retrofit. I'm reading all over that 12+ are rotated about 15* from factory but can't find much for 05-11. Here's about the only example I could find.

 

Call trs tomorrow if you can't find the answer today, they'l tell you pretty quick.

 

I found install instructions a member posted on XRU for 2008 models! 05-11 use the H4 Adapter ring, 12+ do not.

 

Retrofit update, about forgot to put the led rings in.

 

but did you test the shutter ?

Aww, you mean you didn’t bake your headlights on a towel for our entertainment?

 

I had some towels on standby but the maintenance guy that installed the dishwasher flooded the floor and they got soaked.

 

Might have to change my steering rack at some point.

Is yours leaking or something?

 

Been having a death wobble when I get on the brakes, had my tires balanced/rotated and it's still there. I just checked for work BJs, tie-rods, wheel bearings and the Passenger inner tie-rod has a good amount of slop before it starts to move the rack.

 

Just change the inner tie rod end. Also it could be the rotors warped really badly. If you can get an inner tie rod end by sat I can bring my tool over to do it.

 

I changed the inner and outer tie rods 3 years ago with Moog. I want to say there was some oil in it, but it was hot out so idk if it was melted grease or steering fluid.

 

Could just be worn out again with the amount of wheeling and driving you do with your truck.

 

I'll take the boot off tomorrow and see what comes out. Don't think I'll go with Moog again, but dunno what brand to get.
