Hey @OVTune , did you integrate the throttle fine control into the auto trans tunes?

Just wondering how that turned out on your Pro..

Just received a test map from Mat. Going to flash, test, may as well log at the same time, and provide some feedback.

Did he give you the same note as he did me? "Do not send log files unless you are still having problems"?

I am guessing he only want's a log if the tune is still having problems. Hopefully this means he was able to identify the problems I was having and has it "fixed"

This map is certainly very good. I sent @OVTune a log nonetheless, along with a listed sequence of events for what I did through the log, and a decently thorough paragraph of my thoughts on the map, all positive. Here it is:

"This map has subtle differences from 1.03C. Mainly that the application of power seems a bit smoother and more linear. I took note that I didn't even feel the vvti actuation on this map. On the stock tune, it was more of a kick in the ass. On 1.03, B, and C, it was subtle. Perhaps I've just grown accustomed to the subtle feeling, but I could swear that I didn't even notice it being there. Definitely indicative of a very smooth transition. The thing that I noticed most however, and this is a good thing, is shifts are no longer a sort of harsh process. In the past, the process of letting off the gas and pushing in the clutch while in the mid range of the powerband in 1st and 2nd, sort of 3rd gear, kind of abruptly threw you forward as the truck very quickly ceased its forward progress. I tried to replicate this on this new map and could not. It is much more forgiving now and venturing higher into the powerband in those gears I mentioned no longer makes your passengers question your driving ability. I also made some effort to recreate the conditions that resulted in the stuttering that people have described, aside from driving off on a cold motor, and could not. The truck responded well to acceleration while low in the rpm band and still pulled strongly when acceleration was required. I was able to confirm that the rpm's do not bounce up and down when attempting to hold a particular rpm, something I briefly did after the cold start idle, although this also wasn't an issue I had before. 4HI performed as expected with no issues. This leads me into 4LO. I have seen people note that in 4lo, the rpm's tend to bounce around when steady throttle control is required. I did not attempt anything challenging, but the soft sand and small hills I climbed over were sufficient to confirm for me that that issue is resolved. The only rpm fluctuations I observed were my own."

@MOC221_ thoughts? Having too much fun?

@M1Awolf i guess if he didn't want a log, I'll chalk it up to being overly excited and forcefeeding him a ton of info that he doesn't want lol oh well, it's already done, and I don't have any NSA friends who can erase the email
