I had a led Samsung TV that went bad and had a vertical line of pixels go blue like that. It's there on every menu screen right?

Try pushing in the power button for like 5 seconds to reboot radio see if it goes away. Otherwise that there's a warranty claim.

I had the same problem, but a yellow line in my case. Head unit replaced under warranty.

Yeah, no matter what screen it's on the blue line is still there.

Thanks! I'm gonna try rebooting it first. If that doesn't solve it, it looks like I'll be making a phone call to the dealer.

Went to the dealership today-- said there was a defect in the unit and will be ordering a new one and replacing it under warranty.

Had something like that with a TV. SB Sunday about six years ago, our first flat screen that was 1yr and 1day old started growing black vertical lines, just one pixel wide. There was about six of them growing. We never thought to call the MFG but did call in the extended warranty (one of the rare times that we bought one). They (General Electric) agreed that the TV was hosed. That was the end of the easy side.

They wanted to cut a check for some mid-range comp that wasn't even the same MFG and wouldn't poney up for the tax. No to mention that the comp was more expensive in the store than they listed. I even asked that they just ship me one to make it easy. No dice.

After arguing for a few months and dragging my feet, I took the check but said that I was keeping the TV. We paid more for the replacement than was given. The original just sat in our spare room for 6mo when we decided that it would work fine in our bedroom, lines and all. The one big benefit was that the new one weighed half of the original.

Plugging it in, the lines were gone! 1 - 0 for the tonered family.

Funny enough, we talked with the MFG after we started the process with GE. They said that they would have shipped us a replacement with no issues. Oh well.
