The dealership told me that the new 2018 Tacomas you can not change tire size because of the safety equipment and radar that is standard now.. Is this true???

You can change tire size, and also lift it with no problems. Dealer told me Corp said to put a hold on doing so, but dealer installed TRD pro set-up/lift and 3 leaf add-a-leaf anyways with no problems.

Yea, no problems with bigger tires. Most people don’t even have to adjust any sensors with their lifts. Just tires is no issue

only thing that could change is if you go too large your gearing may be off, and reduce power. as far as electronic features, no.

Very likely they were sincere in their ignorance.

But the part about you getting the 'best price possible'? Not so much.
