    It depends on what your going to do with your truck. If it’s mostly pavement and fire roads then with a 2” lift you would probably be good with 275s. To me the sound of tire tread hitting truck parts is worse than fingernails on chalkboard. I do moderate trails so I like the extra room with the 265s.

    There are a couple dozen good threads about the 275s. Just put 275/70/17 in the search. Some claim they have gotten away with 275s on stock suspension. I guess if you get the right wheel offset it would be possible, but I would hate to hit a curb cut at any decent speed.

    We won’t know. Maybe he he got rid of the scooped hood, fog light bezels, fender flares, etc. Maybe @DubfromGA is right, the parents will know.
