That's actually not too bad for satellite... At least your ping times are under 700

Sitting here in SLC wishing I had my Tacoma. I hear there’s a place four hours or so south of here thats fun to take a truck. Beautiful views out here though.

I know a place 3 hours South More east of there that’s pretty neat.

Got the kings out, but the kid that helped me put together my struts and I are dumb and the top hat holes don’t align with the holes in the mount... so probably at a stand still for the night.

Also, on of the spacer deals at bottom of my kings rusted to the bolt, so I had to cut it (bolt), which sucked ass.

how many miles last the original transmission ? did you changed fluids on the original , some said that is when trouble start , some others said you should change fluids every 30K miles but never remove the pan filter were metal deposits are because that is reason to trouble, etc , etc , to much versions of the knowledge on transmissions, I did change mine original fluid for BG synthetic fluid at the 63K mark, now about 73K works flawless so far

I bought the truck last year with 224k.
Transmission died at 233k. I didn’t personally do any maintenance with the transmission sense purchase of the truck but I have records and receipts from the previous owner that show he had it serviced periodically. I can’t recall how often.

Got the door open when I got home. Inner and outer sheet metal separated. Rocker panel is pushed in a good bit. 524D703E-82E0-4685-8620-8DD216D64342.jpgCBCA356C-1962-4FDB-9FB6-64A2E1391ECD.jpg 00144F2E-F344-4C3B-8480-74F9C9076DDF.jpg

Bought my topper years ago, and the best thing that I did was buy the optional flip-up side windows! Gives access to the whole of the bed!!

If you can or if you choose to fix it. Take a 2x4 cut off and 4lbs ball peen use it to adjust the area interfering with the door.

I had to do a emegency fix 3hrs from a town before my sliders

That's a great idea. I'll just buy a new one and rebuild this one for a spare.

Runs in my mind that it was an extra $150, but that was back in '05. Whole thing was only $1,100 apprx. Replacements were $300 each last year.
