    I was gonna start tearing into it tomorrow to see if I could hammer it out any. Might see what a body shop would charge to get it pulled out, I don't care if it's perfect just don't want it smashed that bad lol.

    What kind of polishing compound should I start with?

    2,000 Tacoma rear axle with E-Locker.
    Replaced the distributor O-ring and put some fresh oil in the old lady.

    Yeah they look good, but they'll definitely flatten out some when installed. Especially because you have the 1/2 ton leaf pack instead of the 3/4 ton, which have a longer 2nd and 3rd leaf. Yours will flex better though.

    If you get a swap kit like RuffStuff's kit with the frenched spring hangers and 4" shackles, you can get it to sit pretty low, will basically be stock height if you want.

    So today I went on a couple trails and now when I start my truck the air bag lights stays on longer than usual. I don' remember it being the last light to turn off after it being started. Should I be concerned at all? I went on a couple bumpy roads at a decent speed..

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Airbag light always comes on for a second or two then goes off. As long as it goes out you're good.

    A good body shop would cut it out and weld in a new section, vs a slide hammer and heavy bondo.

    I think that is the least painful incedent to happen with a truck, especially wheeling. Better avoid trails unless they are fullsize rig rated, and till you get sliders and bumpers with a exo skeleton. :boink::cheers:

    I cant see mine unless im 15ft back.

    They work great, if you can grab 2 more for cheap to use to cut down. Then add accordingly to your main pack you can get more lift and change your spring rate if its to soft.

    haha I mean if i do duals thats a Frank mod not the daily mod!

    No actually it has a double cardan right at the tcase. Found that interesting..but no carrier bearing. Just a straight shot from the double cardan to the diff.

    Yeah I was following ya, pull the good tcase out of frank, throw it in the d.d over the weekend and then double frank. Assuming you can swap rear drive shafts. Then your d.d isnt down and you can get a doubler instead of money on a bearing. :yay:

    Not a bad plan..

    However..thats a 3k investment. And my 3k investment this year is Solo fabbed spindles and redoing the rear suspension.
