This is the second time I've had to spray some wd-40 on it. :annoyed:
As you've notice it's slushy on the ground today.. shit doesn't brake in nice weather.. :pout:

Steering shaft has no zerk figttings.

Why are you spraying wd40 on it? Mine squeaks when turning around the rubber that it goes through the firewall. I know at least @EatSleepTacos replaced his due to noise and found a fair amount of play when he too it off. Mine also makes a rattling noise while offroading so looking at replacing mine soon as well.

Does it help after you spray the u-joints? The way u-joints work unless the WD40 is getting into the cups and lubricating the needle bearings an exterior oil film won't help any. Checked the PS fld level?

When I did it the first time it did help.. This time I'll spray some lithium grease.

You should probably just replace it. Like I said you spraying stuff doesn't get the lube into the cups to lube the needle bearings. It's not that expensive and a pretty simple fix there are a few write ups on here on how to do it. @EatSleepTacos did his recently and can link you to his build page where he did it and where he got the part and cost I can't find it.
