Yeah you can if you gotta get trailers out of a wet boggy pasture. They have their purpose now if you aren't doing anything hard offroading, driving doing farm work, or snow then yeah you don't really need it.

Need some help and don't want to start a new thread because it has been done a bunch. I do have a interesting circumstance which I haven't seen though.

I have spacers on the front and a 2 inch block on the rear. I went to Toyota back in Nov. for the recall work on the rear leaf pack. They replaced it with no issues. However, the rear end is now 1 3/8 inches lower (empty bed) than the front. They did install the block back, the rear with the camper shell was level with the old leaf pack. I have already taken it back to the dealership and they say everything is right. The leaf pack is already frowning too after only 4 months :(

So, should I aal? Or save for 6-8 months and get a whole leaf pack with new shocks? I just did a trip with about 200 pounds in the bed and it sagged about another 1/4-1/2 inch. It wouldn't bother me so much but when I'm driving I can feel how the front is higher than the rear.

No, man they stopped making them serviceable long ago all manufacturers. Now it's buying the whole intermediate shaft. The taco one is around 150 bucks.

We are talking about the steering shaft u-joint not the driveshaft one the driveshaft ones can still be serviced.

Probably the driveshaft not intermediate shaft. 2 different items but both use a u-joint.

I had the original 3 leaf pack and they replaced it with the 4 leaf pack. That is the only thing they changed besides new u-bolts.

Round 2 of snowblower shenanigans. Between yesterday & Tuesday I got about a foot of snow, cleared everything Tuesday after work only for it to dump again yesterday.
