Yup! Almost finished wiring em up, then need to mount them.

Dude it never ends too. I feel like my a truck is a tank drivetrain/armor/capability wise now finally but there is always more to do to make it better. Namely suspension is my next big purchase.

I found this old list when I first started building:

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

That didn't even scratch the surface of everything I have done or still need to do.

i hear yea, that was pretty much my list to. and it doesnt help when someone on here has the exact setup as your "dream rig" and you constantly stare at it and drool over it then you look at your truck lol

wasn't ever the plan to LT the rear. For what I do a SUA setup isn't smart.

And I can't afford to do the 4 link right now.

Doing a nice SOA setup for the time being will be great for what I do. And with some good valving will match the front enough until I have the space and stop moving so much to do a link setup. Im not fucking around with SUA. Not worth it.

If only I had the resources to do that. I’d have to buy a welder and learn how.

Got the door open last night and this morning to take my dog to the vet and when I got home to let her out the door wouldn’t open... I have the panel off currently. Something with the locking system isn’t working because the locking knob thing won’t move much... Anyone have any ideas on how to get this thing opened up?image.jpg

You should be able to pull on one of the rods and open it if I remember right

I've taken these doors apart more times that I'd like to say. Pull on that long metal rod towards the engine and the door should open. If the metal rod has become detached or doesn't do anything, stick your hand in the door and pull on the metal latch the rod is connected to.

Are you both talking about the door handle rod? If so that works fine but something is up with the lock.... like it won’t disengage or something.

Sounds like your door is stuck locked? I recently had this happen to me and this video help me out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcYaJKlhX5s

I didn't take my seat out, but it was a pain in the ass to get the panel off with the door stuck shut. Shouldn't be your problem as your panel is already off, look at the video around minute mark 8:10. You can push up on the portion I circled in red (below) and that will unlock the door and you'll be able to use your handles again to open the door.

My spring is broken like in this video, you may have the same issue. You will want to remove the window rubber guide to see the full locking mechanism, easy, two 12 mm bolts I think (maybe 10mm) then the guide will bend up and out of the way exposing the mechanism

@Teke Do this, this is how I get doors open at the junkyard when the locking mechanism is broken.

Is everything connected properly in the door handle? Those two metal rods have to clip/snap in place in the plastic retaining clips for the handle to function like it should.

I've had to change out 3 door handles on my truck in the past 6 weeks, I never want to see the inside of my door again.

This is very unfortunate as the the safety bar thing in the door has screwed this all up for me. I might have to bust out the sawzall and cut the bar out...

How did you abuse them ? how bad ? Cost of rebuilt ?

I was day dreaming on purchasing (long later in future ) Kings 1st on list but hearing this that need rebuilt or some to be Re-Charge of Nitrogen? that may have second thoughts on choosing Kings ? in scale of best for Cadillac ride will be 1 Kings, 2. Fox 3. Icons ? For leaf pack this forum said Alcan all they way but i just dont know
