That’s the beauty of a free market economy. If it’s too much, just don’t buy it. If you think you can produce, market, and still make a profit, then by all means step up to the plate.

we will sell the rear setup for 99.99 per panel . This set up is a lot of material, laser cut, thicker material, powdercoated, comes with all very nice hardware, rubber bumpers, it's an extremely nice system. Also includes free shipping and no tax.

I'm down to pay whatever, but I don't see 99.99 anywhere.

    Hey everyone,

Chris here from Cali Raised. You may remember me formerly selling LED mounts as Apex Fabworks. I am working on the Cali Raised team now as their product engineer and a few other rolls.

I wanted to share with you guys a detailed explanation of the Molle system so you guys can get an idea of what we have to offer, and why we think it's a great product.

Let me start with some facts. Jake has mentioned some already.

Material: 10 gauge cold rolled steel, 0.14" in thickness to be exact
Manufacturing Process: CNC laser cut, CNC formed on our Amada press brake. All done in the USA by us and a couple local processing companies.
Coating: Sand blasted and powder coated semi gloss black mini texture.
Hardware: All specifically spec'd for each need. All zinc coated for anti corrosion.
    Dimensions: Rear panel 30" x 12" Full System 54" x 12" when assembled

So to give you guys the break down I am going to go through a few things. First I am going to start with hardware. The Molle system and rear panel both use some very specific high quality hardware. From the simple stuff down to the more complex. Everything has the correct washers that are required and all fasteners use a lock nut to ensure they will stay tight. We also use high quality T-Slot nuts to ensure that you get a very solid mount in the rail. Additionally a VERY important feature to note is the use of rubber bumpers. Every accessory mount I have seen on the market for the Tacoma bed seems to have a metal flange near the bottom that contacts the bed as a support. While this does work as a support you have metal contact on your composite bed. Over time as the mounts vibrate around, especially under load this can cause damage and rub markings to the bed surface. With the rubber bumpers you have zero damage and you can remove the system with zero blemishes to the bed.

You can also see in the pictures our optional High Lift Jack hardware kit. Designed to stay in place when the jack is not in use, but easily allow install and removal if needed with the simple turn of a knob.

Next I want to showcase the system and some of the features. Ultimately the sky is the limit on these and you will be able to do a lot more than we show you, we can't wait to see what you think of. So first an important detail to point out is where the Molle system bolts to the accessory rail. Notice it is three tabs that seem to be in weird spots. This is all intentional. The Molle system is designed to work WITH most bed racks. If the bed rack system uses two or three posts and doesn't cover the entire accessory rail, then it should not interfere. We don't know the details on all racks on the market, but this should stay out of the way of most we reviewed. Also with these tabs it still allows the use of the accessory rail hooks. You can still install and move the hooks around and use them as you need. Sorry guys with bed covers that drop the rail system down, we do not think this is compatible. The space is limited and we wanted to maximize mounting options.

Next you will see the obvious Molle rectangles. These are 1.5" wide to accept standard Molle bags. Also you see the 1/2" slotted holes in 6 specific locations. this is so jacks can be mounted in a few places along with other heavier accessories. Then there are the 1/4" holes all over the rack. These work great for a large number of accessories and also many of the Quick Fist offerings. Your imagination is the limit here.

Next I have included a couple of alternate views so you can see what is going on. While these are largely flat panels you can see there is a lot going on here. These are designed to fit the shape of the bed and to allow things to be mounted in 3D space while keeping clutter of the bed of the truck.

Last I have a few examples of the panels separately. First is the rear panel that is offered as a stand alone. This is a good demonstration of what you will get when ordering just the rear panel. It is a very easy install with four mounting locations and then you can start mounting all your fun stuff. The second picture is the extension that is available if you do the entire system. This one has a lot more hardware included and allows for the mounting of longer items like fishing poles, shovels, axes, jacks, etc.

If you guys have any technical questions please feel free to post them up or shoot me a DM. I will do my best to get to them quickly and provide the details you need!

    Just ordered a driver's side.

Just a suggestion for the future, since there's two panels on each side, it'd be nice if we can order each panel separately. I have SwingSafes coming for my truck which I'm pretty sure won't work with the rear panels.

Also, how about a molle panel for the bed rail directly behind the cab?

Paid. Hopefully the OEM tonneau cover doesn't interfere with it.
