I do. That’s why I almost rear ended the car. My right foot was blipping the throttle as my feet are too big to heel toe.

Notchy into 2nd here as well, but not so bad at 60k miles.

A 2lb shift ball completely solved it, but it was just too heavy otherwise.

Seemed notchy when I let my brother who wasn't used to the new clutch drive it. It's not notchy for me. :notsure: Slow it down a bit maybe? Higher 1st gear rpm with an exaggerated shift into 2nd is how I got my bro to shift smoothly into 2nd. I have no resistance when down shifting into 2nd though.

No complaints from me. After 2 Corollas, 2 no-name trucks and 1 Celica, the 3rd Gen is really smooth!

From first to second mine would "clunk". Didn't seem like it had anything to do with the shifter, more clutch related. I'd say at 12k it went away.

Left foot the brake and right foot the skinny pedal...leave the clutch outta the equation

My first car was a manual and always had one since then. I was great, or so I thought. My first go at a ranger 10 a few back ago in a 70's Cab over GMC put me in my place.

I took my truck in for my appt Saturday. Told me everything appears normal. Yay... The mechanic didn't really seem to want to listen to what I had to say about it. I think he wrote it off as nothing even before he drove it.

The service writer was pretty cool at least. He apologized for not being able to help with it yet. Told me don't worry too much since I have a lot of warranty left and they'll get it fixed up if it gets worse.
