I had the Motofab 3 and 2 level installed on my 2016 Tacoma off road. I am able to runthe 285/70 r17 BF Goodrich tire to fit with this height although my back shocks are now fully extended. Does anyone have any experience using shock extentions? Don’t want to get new back shocks unless I absolutely have to.

That lift is typically not recommended on here but you asked for advice so you will need extended length shocks. Right now you run the risk of bottoming out the stock shocks, which you are aware of. Check out the Bilstein 5160's.

Welcome to TW. Shock extensions break. I suggest you get new shocks. Good luck.

Run 255/85's you should clear, you only lose .75-1" of width and you will get better mpg

From what I’ve found online the Bilstein 5100 work well in the rear if you’ve raised the truck 2” in the rear. The Bilstein 5125 offer a more exstended shock for a higher lift. Does this sound accuarate?
