Would preloading to achieve 2" of lift be ill-advised?

I have mine set to a little over 2" and it rides well. When I had it at 3" was when it wasn't so great, and my CV angles were too severe.

Good to know. I think between 2 and 2.5" is best. 3" sounds good on paper, but in practice is a bit of a liability.

I already go too fast offroad for my current suspension so Kings it is. Small turbo is the plan. I'm not gonna lie, I don't want a V8 Taco. Just doesn't seem practical to me unless I'm building a race truck.

probably fine. But i wouldn't put your new tires on if your alignment isn't good. You'll just ruin them.

I posted the "end" pic already last week, but got the CBI Outback rear bumper part of our 6 day trip written up. The Maze part is still coming but at least the photos are processed now, so it shouldn't be long!

Too bad we aren't close to one another, I need to do mine as well. Already have the new bushings, but the one time I tried doing it I got stuck trying to remove the long bolt out of the 1st one under the drivers seat. Might've been bent or something but that fucker would not come out.

Was it hard to convince them to add the dual swingout? This exact bumper is on the horizon for me here in the next few months, looks bad ass!

It's a standard option, so only as hard as
    :spending:

You'll love the bumper. There are a few bits I'll tweak in the future, but overall, it's great.

Do you have a dif drop? If so it could have dropped the differential enough to get in the way of the bolt sliding out. Take the dif drop out, and lift the dif. The bolt should slide out nicely. You can of course put the dif drop back in once you are done.

Says everything is included for install but damn, compared to the hardware that comes with the 3.4l blowers that looks short.

Also compared to this pic on LCE's website...same blower I believe? Just without TRD's stamp...and he's selling his used for almost the same price. I'd rather just get a new one.

I do have a diff drop, but I don't recall it being in the way...I had enough room to push the bolt all the way through, problem was that it got stuck about halfway and didn't want to slide out any further. The video I watched showed the guy just pushing his right through with ease, mine felt like it was jammed...like maybe it was slightly bent or something.

One of these days I'll give it another go, I wanted to do my bushings because I was getting some pretty bad popping while turning at slow speeds, but the noise eventually went away on it's own (may have been related to a CV axle that blew on me shortly afterward and got replaced). All I know is that my bushings didn't look bad when I was under there, and the noise is now gone so I haven't been in a hurry to try again.

What's the benefit for having a dual swingout? Part of me wants a swingout but at the same time I don't want one cause of the price lol. To get the CBI outback with the swingout and dual gas can holder it's going to be like $1,900 after shipping

Dual because there is less loan on the spindle when open. One just holds the tire and the other holds the gas or whatever.

@Speedytech7 also the duplicolor truck bed coating is the exact same. Just not a blue can anymore. I almost bought some bed armor today but there was truck bed coating right next to it in black cans. Which is what j bought before anyways and took a photo of yesterday. So not discontinued just rebranded
