Think that setup is a little over the top. Don't want to be too obnoxious.

On their website there is a place for custom head rest. You can download an image for your head rest. It you already have the covers from them, you can sent the headrest back for them to be updated with your choice of stitching.

I just ordered the shift knob, how do you like it? It was expensive for what it is, but I was tired of it sitting in eBay watched item column. I bit the bullet finally, I told myself at least I’ll use it everyday lol

Yea where do you live? Ha. I’ve had 5% limo tint on all my vechicles growing up. I’ve gotten 3 tickets throughout the years but not going full black on my last 2 cars I haven’t had a problem. The semi dark windows with 30 on the windshield looks great & keeps me out of trouble. I’m in FLA so I think window tint is generally accepted, the cops roll around with limo tint here.

It’s bigger and wider than the stock shift knob. Feels solid.

I am not trying to start a fight about tint, but one reason not having tint is good is that pedestrians and bicyclists (and other cars for that matter) can see where the driver is looking and/or make eye contact to know when it is safe to cross in front of the driver. I had never really thought about that until a friend who lives in a city and walks everywhere mentioned it. Just something to think about.

Received my Rigid ignites I bought for the bezel only..o_O..i got tired of my paint chipping of the ones on my mirrors. Tried prepping and painting 3 times. Just wouldn't take. You dont see the lights, just the bezels. Paint on the mirror cover is holding up just fine.

Exactly! Eye contact with the driver is something I've told my kids to look for before proceeding. Lord knows how many times I've had to jump out of the way because someone "didn't see me" (likely looking at their dang phone). They may have been going slow as if to stop, but they never stopped because they were just slow-rollin through the stop signs.

All it takes is once for an ill-timed collision to ruin things (for both parties). Unfortunately, there usually isn't always a second chance for the person outside of the vehicle...

How do you have this and not get stopped for it in DFW?! I had windshield tint on my FJ (from Wisconsin) but it wasn't a daily driver and I was denied inspection from a few shops because of it. When I finally found a shop that passed it on inspection, they ended up cutting the corner off when removing the old inspection sticker. I know that's not an issue now but I had to remove it because of that.

Did you get it installed locally? If so, where? It's not like I'm trying to hide inside my truck, it just really helped in the crazy hot Texas summers.

I've had the same issue with rear view mirrors in my 2010 Pre-Runner and FJ. My workaround was to just spend more time at crowded intersections and slow down more when approaching them.

Yeah I did get it installed locally. Ive gotten stopped with it on my F150, and my side windows metered at 2%. Luckiest day of my life in that he gave me a warning. for some strange reason, I never got stopped in my F250 that was breaking more laws combined than any vehicle tint I’ve ever had. 20% on the windshield with 5 over everything else was DARK

You’re right. I had to roll down my window to remind someone how to drive the other day. He thought he was in the right by cutting across the parking lot while I was obeying the lanes. I saw him yelling and staring, so I had to roll down my window & give it back to him.

As far as stop signs, cross walks or little kids go, I come to a complete stop every time. I wave them on. We’re in full blown Snow-Bird season down here, you better be on the look out.

There's always the musical horns. Not loud but very ear catching. :D Would it be un-PC to suggest La Cocarachaa?
