Tried that, punch and a BFH but no dice. Also tried using a pry bar with as best leverage as I could get from under the truck and against the top of the bolt but that didn't work either.

Don’t let the random mobile body guy work on your truck... Drilled and pulled out the door and some of the rocker. Then proceeded to call me a thief when I wouldn’t pay him in full when he was maybe half finished and the door still wouldn’t open (crash bar is blocking any access to the locking stuff back there). So now I have some holes in my rocker and door and I’m out $20. E345F8CF-9659-4B0B-911A-563CE2BBECF4.jpg

I would take the diff drop out and do it.

I watched the Tim guys video on replacing the rack and he mentioned that.

I mean he was doing it “right”. He was about to use 30 lbs of bondo lol. I guess I’m not off any worse that I was before he touched it really. I’m gonna try to source a door and just take it to a real reputable shop.

Watch it. I’m a Ford guy at heart lol. I shouldn’t have trusted the guy but thought “shit what do I have to lose?” That was my first mistake.

Very very tempting. I'd rather spend the money on a 5VZ swap though.

Turbo 4 banger is way better haha, more power than a superd 6 cyl and none of their goofy pinging behavior.

Also @Reh5108 that SC has an 8 port manifold and your 01-04 head has a 4 port intake. So if you did get it you'd have to source a 4 port manifold for the SC too.

If only aftermarket turbos were legal in California...

Speaking of California's anal emissions rules, the truck is due for a SMOG. Most SMOG places here close at 5 PM, I get out around 6 PM. How the hell am I supposed to SMOG my truck?

There was a TRD one for sale about a year ago on here, was the first I'd seen. They're rare for sure.

They're perfectly legal, just gotta take it off for smog. Then you're free to put it back on

I'm about to do this exact upgrade. Got the 881s already and need to order the nitros. I should call Wheeler's.

    How does it ride?

Drop it off for the test and Uber to work? Or hang around till it's done...only took them about 30 minutes to do mine, there wasn't a wait though.
