If I could afford a PC every couple years to keep up with the requirements I would. Consoles outlive pcs as far as time before they are outdated though.

Yeah, someone's doing the nasty in there and accidentally hit the power button on the switch/router. Should be back up in a few when they realized what they did and call IT.

 

If you build a good one yourself (yes, it would be very costly upfront) it would last a very long time. There are very few games that can actually push a good gaming PC. I'd say even the ones that I built 6+ years ago would run today's games on high.

yeah but for the money to build one, I can buy three different releases of a console (at about 7 years a piece that's 21 years of console gaming). I don't know a computer that could maintain for 21 years.

I just always preferred PC when I used to be into gaming. The experience is very different.

 

oh dude absolutely. I used to be a WoW guy in High School and you just can't really compare the two, PC outdoes console no doubt.

It's just easier to afford consoles....and more people have consoles that I personally know so it's more people to play with...

 

I may or may not have played the hell out of WoW, which is the only thing I built my PCs to do.......


I think once majorities moved on from WoW, the online world of console gaming was able to really grow.

 

I would say you're right. The game had so much to offer, that when they seemingly couldn't offer much more the expansions weren't offering much people began to leave. Still IMO hands down the best game I've ever played.

 

It is pretty impressive what the game was able to accomplish. I got a little carried away and played a bit too much....

It still remains at the game that every MMO is compared to and will be for a very very long time.

 

haha I got carried away too. Had relationship arguments all the time in high school because I played it too much.

I didn't have the access to do after school activities so it was school then home then game. Then when I could drive it was school - work - game. lol
