Depends on why you're putting that spacer there. There have been a few documented failures of Icon coilovers breaking where they mount into that top bucket, which then causes the bucket to get bent all out of shape. I think it's due to a combination of the bucket being thin coupled with the design of the Icons. Change one of those things and the problem goes away. Installing the spacer on top of the bucket will give it reinforcement if you're running Icons. Cheaper than buying new coilovers. :)

True, but good luck shopping for a "top bucket reinforcement ring" :p

    got some
I have 6112 Bilstein coil overs. After installing still bumpers and a winch I lost like close to an inch of the lift I had before. It’s still good, works perfectly just wanna get that lost inch back until I get some cash to do it right with stronger springs. Priority now is re-gearing the truck. Don’t have the time to go out
I was thinking more like 650ld because I have 600lb on my 6112s and sags a little.

Yeah I wouldn’t go above 650lb coils. My 700’s were too stiff with full armor

$100 picked up, or we can arrange a meet in the middle if I am feeling like BBQ and gun shopping in Fife one day.

He does for women, I do for suspension. That way if I’m ever drunk and pick up a girl and I’m hitting my air bumps over ever bump I know she’s too big ;) That and it’s a better ride

A week ago, we headed to The Maze with Ben and Zane for what would be another "too-short-but-better-than-staying-at-home" trip. Here's the first of the three-day adventure!

    The Maze, Canyonlands
    Day 1: Nature's Doll House

... while the water may have looked dirty, I'd say it was a great
opportunity to clean off the trucks. Well, my truck anyway - Ben and Zane
plodded a more reasonable pace across, pushing a bow wave - and I may
have used a bit too much of the skinny pedal, and dunked the hood.

We all got a good laugh out of that one. And I got a clean hood.

@JimSnell I didn't realize that fiat was a 550hp turbo 3rz!?! Although I didn't really go up and look at it closely either.
