80mph in very heavy driving rain on interstate. Got run completely off the asphalt into the median and just cringed while waiting for the truck to start it’s spin. Tires never broke traction and I was able to ease right back onto the interstate at 75mph.

Combine that with how capable they are off-road and you have the reason that I will continue to buy them until they stop making them.

anyone recently purchase a 255/85/16? Want to pull the trigger on my 5th for a spare, but figured I'd see if someone knew of a coupon or cheap place. Best I can find right now is $228 total to my door. Thanks in advance.

We do already get daily packages from them. Not sure why I thought they were more when I looked. Good deal!

Yes, a lot of money. Some for things you'd buy anyway, some for not so much . The smile porgram is pretty cool

@Misplaced Nebraskan Amazon has sales tax (depending on where you live). I saved almost $15 per tire going through SimpleTire who is not located in my state so doesn't charge me tax. Amazon is everywhere now - so most people get tax with them. I have no skin in this either way, but thought I would help a fellow Taco enthusiast out.

$60 in my pocket was better than in the government's pocket. A wise man once said the best place for your money is in your pocket. Anyway, back to more talk on these awesome tires!

Last years smile donations totaled up to $580. Living in a rural area, it’s so much nicer to just make a few clicks instead of having to go to town and deal with mental midgets.

I haven't flexed the suspension yet, but no rubbing at all at full lock in Reverse or drive.

Just got these 265/75-16s mounted. Local shop matched the discount tires direct eBay price. Initial impressions are very good. Love the look, they’re surprisingly quiet, and the E load rating does not seem harsh to me at all. Plus I love that they are made in the US.

5100's @2.5 and add a leaf. 255/80R17 Cooper ST Maxx.
Had a small wear issue on the driver side tire. Caught it early and took it to get an alignment. Caster was at 0.0 on driver side and -.17 on passenger toe was also way off and camber were at .4 each. The technician at firestone got caster at 1.7 on both camber at 0.1 and toe to .04. Truck drives straight now. Still need to take it up to highway speed to do a real check. It used to wander really bad. Used to think it was just the skinny tires or the fact that I didn' have uca's not the fact that my alignment was way off. Specially since its only been 5000 miles since last alignment.
