Just dropped off the truck at Stapp for the new door weatherstripping per the TSB (We came back from Pueblo a few weeks ago during some heavy wind and the truck was singing to us all the way home). I sure wish they'd just let me have either the FJ40, FJ60, or 4Runner they've had parked outside on display forever. I really like the 4Runner, though.

 

Wait, you mean that whistling sounds isn't normal?

 

I've got one month left on my bumper to bumper warranty, so I took it in when I saw there was a TSB for it. Apparently it can also be fixed by glueing in some 1/4 round weatherstripping. I was going to have them look at the rattling headrest/passenger seat, but I gave it a hard whack, heard a "click" and now it doesn't rattle. I either fixed it, or broke it, but either way, the rattling stopped.
