 Its a great place to camp and fish and wheeling of course. Its 60 miles of beach you can drive. I'm actually going in two weeks. Wife and I are taking both rigs and a friend of ours is taking his 4x4 F150. Usually do my fishing around mile marker 45 or next to the nearest rip tide that I spot. Typically catch our lunch and dinner :hungry:

@Kel2427 I actually thought of you yesterday while out on the Bastrop trails. The one spot where we all contemplated going through but decided to turn around is still under water and looks worse than when we were there last; somebody also dumped a shit load of trash there too :frusty:. Also that hill you climbed that was a bit slippery is now bone dry. I ended up going up and down it instead of driving through that neighborhood.

Well I hope the people who dumped the trash there got stuck. The irony behind that would be great. Can't believe people just do that shit. And dang, that hill was was tough!! I like to think getting up that hill was my coming out party lol. I want to go back out there when its dry and do what you did.

    Turn in whoever's illegally dumping.

That place is liable to get closed off to the public if it continues.

...duh. I am reading too much right now at the same time.

Yeah there was also a homeless camp I saw. At least 4 people with tarps and a tent setup. Had a clothes line too. o_O:rolleyes: When I called the city a while back asking about these roads the guy mentioned there are homeless camps back there from time to time and to just be on the look out. When they saw me they started going deeper into the woods. :goingcrazy:

All good. Yeah, your truck looks official af. I'd stay away if I was doing illegal activity as well.

Just sayin. I'd be down to meet you out there one day next week and clean up some areas.

If anybody else would like to join, that'd be nice also.

Do report back when you're done with it. I love a good coup to shit management.

Aren't the trashed areas private property?
So if you went to clean up trash on private property wouldn't it technically be trespassing?

    Just asking.

Sure man. I'd be down. Rain foretasted for Tuesday & Wednesday so by Thursday/Friday it will be a bit sloppy but we can always leave your truck where it was parked last time and take mine. I also have plenty of heavyweight trash bags I can bring from my jobsite.

The trash I saw was right on a few trails/roads. Somebody dumped a TV and a bunch of children's yard toys and other crap since we were all out there last.
