A few mods here and there and counting....
Ordered a dewalt 20v 1/2 impact to make life easier on future mods i.e. lift and slider install in the coming weeks. Also for general car/truck maintenance.

I had the same issue, and the codes were saying Master Cylinder under pressure. Made me start sweating until I searched TW for all the codes it was throwing and the common reason was the brake pedal sensor was faulty. Swapped that out for like $50ish and everything was good again.

Waiting to pick mine up from a local shop. Having the ome leaf springs put on and then once I'm at home I'll be putting the nitrochargers on!

No more axle wrap! I cannot wait to give her some gas without everything jiggling around.

I called State Farm last night and found out that my truck is a total loss. The body shop estimate came to a whopping $11,000 when I figured it would be $4-5k at the most. They want to give me $14k though. 2005 DCSB OR 4x4 with 181,000 miles and a topper on it.

I have my little Prius Uber car to drive for right now, so I'm debating just saving the $14k or finding another Taco. It sucks to be Taco-less but I want to move to Denver or SLC in the next few months and more cash would be nice to go down there with.

That sucks. Are you able to recover any of your mods / gear from the vehicle?

I'm not sure, I redid my headlights a year ago and put 5100s on both front and rear shortly after I bought the truck in 2014. I had more mods and upgrades planned but I'm glad I didn't do more by now.

I feel for you. I looked at the picture you posted, does it show all the damage? If it does, it is hard to believe the truck was totaled. I thought mine was totaled after I hit the deer on Feb 28...but insurance paid $5600 for repairs

Yeah, that was a kinda crappy photo, but it's all in that area on the lower passenger side. I knew it would be a few thousand bucks but again, $11k is a surprise. I could get another estimate from another shop but it has to be under $10,500 for State Farm to approve it.

Your truck is 3 years older than mine but I also have 278xxx miles. I'm glad it's repaired but thought for sure they would total it.
    My sympathies to you.

Thanks. After almost 4 years and 40k miles, it made me a believer in these trucks. I thought I would be 40 or 45 years old when I finally moved on.
