Do you think the nitros will hold up better than the bilstiens? I'm about to drop the dollars on those with 881s. I don't do much hardcore off-roading, but I do frequently find myself on forest service roads and creek beds looking for secluded camping spots or trailheads.

OME shocks do tend to last longer yes.

They are valved stiffer though and ride much different than 5100s. they will work just fine for your needs im sure.

Thanks guys, I'll try that today. But, kinda dumb question, when you check the power and grounds do you like put a test light on positive and see if its grounding or do you just make sure its making good contact with bare metal. :anonymous:

just make sure there is good clean contact. And that your battery is connected to the chassis and body well.

Ok so I checked my grounds on the engine and in the engine compartment they all look good, and I thought while I was there I would check if I had a pulse on the injectors when I cranked and there was nothing I have the fuel pump unplugged if that would make a difference or not, I don't know, but I replaced both the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors so I don't see how they would be a problem. :annoyed:

did you find the ground that is under the intake on the driver side? pretty sure that is the ground for the ECU and the spark.

Yeah, on the right side next to the diagnostic port, I cleaned it and made sure it was making a good connection.

I think I found the problem, I was checking the crank position sensor, which I should have done before all this, but it wasn't throwing a code for anything, and it seems I don't have continuity on one of the wires to the ECM. I have never replaced a wire in a loom before so I don't even know where to start so hopefully that's it. :fingerscrossed:

Nice! You might give it a bit longer to dry before you mount it, but totally up to you :)

Can anyone confirm what my brains tell me:

When lifting the truck the ratios like 2:1
    Example:
    1” block = 2 inch lift
    1 1/4” block = 2.5 inch lift
    1 1/2” block = 3 inch lift

    Or am I wrong?
