What kind of weight capacity do the non reinforced caps have? Might not be able to mount a tent on it if it’s not reinforced.

You’d be fine. It’s like 150 dynamic, but upwards of 600 static. My old shell wasn’t reinforced.

Gotcha. No ever talked about dynamic and static. All I saw was like 400lb vs 150ish and was worried because I need to weigh 20lbs for that to work. Lol

    I am like @Justanotherhemi says....”husky”. Lol

Haha that’s funny. I can assure you you’ll be just fine with an RTT up there.

So my 5th tire is out for delivery with an estimated window of 12:45-2:45. Usually they deliver around 1:30 but come 2:45 they still weren’t there. Said eff it and went to get the 4 tires mounted anyways! I’ll get the spare done Monday.

That’s two votes of confidence so I’ll go that route when I get some tracks.

Now just trying to convince the gf that a silver cap will look fine on an MGM. She wants me to wait and find a color matched one but I’m impatient and the MGM caps are hard to come by.

You’re telling me! I did get the spacers on. These things are really nice quality.

I’m fine with that. These guys are cheap and do good work, so I can’t knock them for that.

A put a little blue loctite on the factory studs just to have some extra assurance the lugs for the spacer won't come loose, and blue isn't permanent like red is.

I did red, because I don’t foresee me taking these off anytime soon. I also used a wire brush to clean up the studs and drums/rotors, then applied anti seize to the back of the spacer. Then torqued it all down. Did it by the book!
