I dropped $1700 into the iMac I have for doing my photography. I don't use it for much else. I just ordered a new PC after 6 years of band-aiding the current one. That one is setting me back around $1900, but that's only because crypto-mining has driven video cards into astronomical prices. lol

 

There some guys in my office that have some badass mining machines at home running non stop.

 

Problem is that right now, at BTC prices at $8k per coin, the electrical cost of running most mining machines cancels out the profit of the mining itself. Unless you are using someone elses electricity. lol

 

If I was still in college you bet your ass I would build a mining computer. Lol

I got a question folks. I need a spare tire for my trailer. Just a little 6x8 trailer. The tires that are on it are 205/70R15's with 5 lug white wheels. You know, the typical trailer wheel.

Well, I'm having trouble finding a package deal (Tire/wheel combo) like they sell at Walmart, Academy, Tractor Supply etc. etc. with the same size tire. All of them are 205/75R15's. Now I've looked at the handy dandy tire calculator here on Tacomaworld and height wise the 205/75 is a little over 3/4" taller.

Will it matter if I use a 205/75R15 as a spare and have a 205/70R15 on the other side? Safe? Bad idea?

I can't answer that question, but I have some spare tires that came out of that subaru that are in pretty good shape I'll check the size for you if you remind me!

 

I figured it would chew up the taller diameter tire and definitely create some drag. Maybe they have a rim at tractor supply and I can just go buy the right size tire.
