    Hey guys,

I'm currently running 5100s at 1.75" of front lift on stock coils. I think the ride is a little rough. I would like to run OME 884's on the 5100's but keep the height no higher then 2.5". What setting should I put the 5100's at to achieve a better ride and get around 2 inches of lift? I'm guessing 884's with the 5100s set at .85? Thanks for any assistance folks.

    Solus,

Thanks for the quick response. About how much lift would I get with the 884s on stock setting? good to see another local yota owner.

you should see 2" or pretty close.

I have the 885 springs on mine and with out the spacer I between 2.25 and 2.5. I now have the spacer on it and I'm just over 3" at about 3.25ish

have you considered the 885 springs?

hey a bunch of us went to hollister a few weekends ago, we're gonna plan another trip when it get drier... you should keep your eye for the thread when I make it

I actually wanted 885's at first but did not have a aftermarket front bumper to compensate for the additional weight which equals out to be a stiffer ride with stock bumper. I would like to have a better ride and a little bit more lift without the harsher conditions. I'm assuming 884's set a zero on the 5100s is something I am looking for... I hope it's around 2 inches in the front, because that would be perfect to match the rear TSB 4 leaf pack and rear 5100s I've got :) Yeaaah I'm down for Hollister Hills any day!

I gotcha. Are those 285s in the picture? I really like the stance of your truck.

@bgsmith how is the ride compared to stock? I'm thinking of doing the same setup. Did you do UCA's?

I don't really remember what stock was like as I had 5100s with stock coils before this, but the current setup is better than it was, I did not do UCAs.
