    For those of you who've swapped your hood or just removed it for some reason, is this a fairly easy task for someone with no experience? I'm trying to google but all its giving me is how to remove a hood scoop and not the hood itself.

    2 bolts on each side, 10 or 12 mm as I recall.
    You will need another person to help steady/hold the hood while removing last bolt(s) then to lift it off and move it to desired location.

    I have not removed mine.

    I did however add some spacers on each hinge because my hood was sitting lower than the upper edge of the fender. I did it solo, just removed one bolt and loosened the other on the same side, inserted plastic spacer/washer between hinge and hood, inserted bolt, repeated 3 more times for the other bolts. Took me 20-30 min including pulling the ratchet, washers, trial and error to add correct amount of space, put tools away, spinning the landing bump stops at the front tot the correct height as well, and open beer. I had help from Boomer (my dog), mostly moral support .... proly some warning growls that a bicyclist was passing by.
