    Not much so far
So you are saying it can be deleted?

But I don't think the charcoal canister is my problem. As I posted in my last update, I discovered if I start off slow, and then increase it gradually, after a gallon or two I can open the pump all the way and it will fill just fine.

There's you a crude picture of how it works. The lowest vent has two jobs, the first job is to route air displaced by fuel up above the fuel nozzle and out the can while you are filling. Then when it gets full, fuel travels up the line and shuts off the pump. The other vent is for when the cap is on, and uses surface area of charcoal particles to soak up fuel vapor. It's one of those two lines is where your problem is. Maybe one is pinched or twisted.1522024311551-901140639.jpg

A tornado hit my high school when I was in 10th grade. It pretty much destroyed the place, along with all our vehicles in the parking lot. Those who didn't loose windows could not fill their tanks with gas, the air pressure difference crushed the charcoal and pieces went into the vent lines.
