Sorry to hear that, man! It is the worst. Had to let a lot of dogs go when I was a kid, but this was the first one in my adult life and it was completely unexpected. He was misdiagnosed by another vet before we moved to CO and then we got him to CSU and they figured the issue out but it was too late. Gonna miss the shit out of that little guy. He was the best camping dog ever and he didn't really get to experience CO that much. :(

    Gents,

I had surgery on my neck a couple weeks ago so I have to take it easy while im healing. Id like to hit up a trail soon. Any recommendations on something that isnt really far from Denver and wouldn't be to ruff on my neck? Just wanna get away from the city and see some dirt/trees and scenes.

    Thanks!

Go down 68 in Bailey off of 285. Pretty smooth roads and you can cruise around back in there for a little bit. You'll also come out in the Hayman fire area. I believe the NF gate is still closed from Buffalo Creek but you can get back there via 68. I'll probably be out there camping this weekend.

That it is. Mine is up in 3 weeks so I figured I'd take advantage of it.

    Hey guys,

I am flying out to denver April 3 and plan to hit the Rockies on 4/5 to snowboard one of the resorts.

Can anyone recommend the best one I should visit, that isnt too far? I was thinking either Winterpark or Keystone.

    Thanks!
