Part of the issue is ICE are not allowed or out gunned and outreskurced to be effective against the flood of humanity and mules each day. Learn why they can't, before you go making statements like that partner.

nice first post its not like it is off-topic discussion....when you guys live on the border and have first hand experience with whats goin on you have a completely different outlook than whats being fed to you on the news. The border patrol is paid to secure our borders and they failed, even with the fence that was built. Now to have police officers help them with THEIR job, its time to think of a different strategy.

If I came to Mexico illegally carrying an American flag and protesting the Gestapo Mexican government that I shouldnt have to show any proof of Citizenship there put my kids in the schools never paying a dime for it,going to the Emergency room demanding treatment when Im Ill,refusing to speak Spanish what the F do you think they would telll me? I disagree. The creator of that video in fact "won" the stand off. A friend of mine and I were pulled over just outside of Grahm, TX several years ago. We were running just under the posted limit, but got lit up anyway. As I was suspicious of the reason for the stop, I refused to roll my window - which was tinted - down any further than necessary to speak to the officer. When he demanded that I roll it all the way down, I refused. His "reason" for the stop was running "5 over" the limit, something that was not the case, as the GPS we had along with us was agreeing with the speedometer. The cop did have me step out of the vehicle, which I complied with. He did not get to search the vehicle as he was presumably fishing for an opportunity to do so, and ended up letting us go after a bit of a display of his less than professional attitude.

If I am pulled over for a legitimate reason, then fine. I still will NOT give an inch. MOST officers are honest folk. Unfortunately, there are plenty of unethical ones, who are in a position to willfully abuse their power, and have no problem with intimidating people into giving up their rights. I am one of those that will not give up my rights for the sake of convenience. Every time somone does, they actually ADD to the problem.

 

You should have asked to see the Speed on the cops Radar Gun before you decided to act beligerant,I think your at fault for acting up towards the cop insteadof respecting his position of having to enforce the law,you get more with sugar than you do with salt.
