Well the code required an order of multiple items. And I used the one they published.

Seems CBI isn't the only TW vendor making "mistakes".

Did you read the part where they said they weren't interested in a group buy and were not offering a discount on the Prinsu products?

Did they deliver that roof rack? If not, they can cancel the order and give your money back if there was an error which in this case, they did.

That goes for any services/items if the full refund has been given and the item has not shipped; there is no wrong doing.

Why do you feel so entitled to the code if it was a mistake and they returned your money?

Also, a standard refund is 3-5 business days. For credit cards, which I assume OP used since he said they took a bit to send the refund is 7-10 business days. Reason being is that if a transaction is pending in a credit card (which can take up to 5 day), they cannot cancel/refund until it completes the transaction.

I bet if you bought something with the intention of getting a smoking deal and they said “hey, our bad we F’d up It’s a no go” you’d be understanding. If they had 700$ of my money held up for 8-10 days because somebody had a dumbshit moment and they don’t want to own it, I’d be pretty annoyed. They could at least offer a one time(because they NEVER offer discounts) worthwhile discount because somebody created a headache for you would say something about their commitment to their customers and doing what’s right. Customer service isn’t rocket science.

If someone's finances are so tight that having $700 dollars on a credit card wrapped up for a week is worth complaining about they should seriously reconsider the whole "truck modding" thing.

Who cares? It’s bad business regardless. If you order something thinking you’re going to get a deal and the company says “hey sorry that was a typo and we can offer it at that price” and you still agree to buy it they’re not going to ship it to you and give you 8-10 days to come up with the extra money lol? Yet we should give them the same courtesy because they messed up?

It makes me laugh seeing some of you say "700 bucks shouldn't hurt or shouldn't break the bank or you shouldn't be truck modding". If you think 700 bucks isn't a big deal to an individual then don't you think it should be even less to a company? Especially one that never offers discounts, and has had such a continuous stream of customers because of prinsu racks.

None of you have any right to discuss someone else's financial situation. 20 bucks could be a lot to somebody, and maybe they spent months saving up that 20 bucks for that item. Quality individuals in here judging someone for what amount of money is important to someone.
