Dam do you think I would have to cut that much with the 3.5 kit I have? Just curious. Might move up in size.

No fucking way a air horn is childish. Please stop trying to be the better guy and get one. How much time and effort you put in your truck for someone to be careless and f it up. I would air horn the shit out of them.

I'm not a fan of blowing horns needlessly. This is how you find the on person these days that's like a race car that's been in the red and is ready to blow. Take evasive action and move on with life.

Horns are cute until you find that one MF-er having a bad day. They answer the call and point a real horn out the window like a 44 magnum

What're you stopping for then haha, you tag em with the bumper or the horn and you keep going. You're not supposed to stop for tea and friendly debate unless they actually make contact.

True story, back in the day i had some thug in a caddy proceed to follow and try and get in front of me after a little traffic skirmish where he ran a stop sign. He was an insistent little bastard until I decided to take the scenic route through a trail in the desert. He got stuck not even fifty feet in. The best offense in that case was a 1991 HiLux. I did get out of my truck fifty yards a ahead and proceed to make moose antlers at him.

well turns out the wheel bearing is ok, seal maybe not. Found the real problem is the carrier bearing was fragged. its been around a year since I replaced it...so guess I need to drop the carrier bearing a little.

Getting my 5-lug a clean title has been fun. I only have a bill of sale and I've been trying to locate the original owner...

I found a parking ticket with the lessee listed on it. Typed in the address and guess what I found parked in the driveway in March 2014.

You wouldn't believe how I got here. So I bought it from an individual from Craigslist, he said he was selling it parts only no title for his cousin. His cousin never transferred the title into his name - the story sounded a little fishy but I bought the truck anyway.

I found a parking ticket in the glove box with two people, the driver and the truck 'lessee' or the owner. I looked up the man I bought the truck from and his wife had the same last name as the driver on the ticket confirming his story that the truck was his cousin's. I looked up the address of the lessee (which was 231) and found nothing looking like a Tacoma. I looked at a 2014 archive of the street view and found a Tacoma the same color same cab and looks to be the same truck parked NEXT DOOR, which was 221. I don't know if the police officer typed the address wrong or it's just an insane coincidence that truck looks exactly like mine. The ticket was for 'driving on the highway unregistered' and 'no insurance' - and it makes sense because the man I bought it from said his cousin drove the truck until the tags expired.

My friend's dad is the chief of police in a neighboring city so I tried getting him to plug the VIN into the CHP database and getting me the address of the owner. Tough luck, that's against the law due to a bill passed in the 90's.

I'm finding the owner of this truck. I'm getting that title one way or another this truck is getting another life.

I want to learn eventually but right now I don't have the space to do so. Hoping after I get my degree next spring I'll be able to move out and have my own garage. I currently have my parents garage filled with my Cobra, tools, Tacoma parts, Cobra parts, and my dad's 5.0. Once the Tacoma is just a play toy and not my daily I'll start to do the body work on it if it ever needs it in the future, which I'm sure it will need some love here and there.
