Dude, you need to lighten up a bit and get your head out of the box some time, dont even get me started on drug cartels, since US is the biggest drug market in the world, they are not fascists, they are scumbags and assasins that poison both our societies, stop smoking the pot and sneezing the coke, maybe your head will clear up a bit.

BTW i didnt said your country was borderline fascist, i said the law was, re read my post.

I am not telling you how to run your country, im just making an opinion, since this is tacomaworld.com, not tacomausa.com i think im entitled to an opinion, and since you called agressively on me im entitled to tell you that you can find shit and syphilis between your pants. Ok maybe not, but you get the idea.

I guess your definition of win is different than mine...I'd rather not waste my time bickering with a cop. "Yes sir- Here is my ID" "Yes Sir- I will drive safely. Have a good night yourself." Goes much faster than having a debate about Constitutional law with someone who will write you a ticket (valid or not) and then you have to waste more time with a court date...Not to mention that the winner of the pissing contest didn't change anything except his youtube hits....

Sounds like your stop took a while. I've never been stopped for longer than 10 mins for a traffic issue.
IE- Got pulled over for "suspected DUI" once...A white male driving a large pickup at 2AM....Profiling?? YUP. Cop walked up to the window said "Good evening- Blow into this" and sticks the Breathalyzer in my face. Since I hadn't been drinking- I blew. And called his shift supervisor in the morning. Explained to him what had happened and how un-impressed I was with his troopers understanding of proper DUI stops. Stop was over in about 2 mins...instead of having a debate with him about proper procedure and rights....which probably would have lead to jail or at least a few more troopers and a much longer night.

Speaking of welfare programs and illegal immigrants, recall that anyone born on U.S. soil, with the rare exception of children born to official diplomats, is a U.S. citizen, whether or not its parents were legal or not. Most welfare programs are child-care oriented and illegal mothers with children are fully capable of obtaining WIC and other such aid.

Also, don't ever discount the far-reaching arms of the Catholic Church. I live 1000 miles from the Mexican border but only 1000 yards from a Catholic outreach center. On a daily basis there are hundreds of Mexicans (admittedly, some of them legal work-permit migrant workers) lined up there for free dental, medical, and eye care provided by the Catholic Church.

Many states also extend state welfare benefits to illegal aliens. New York, for example, has several programs for them. Many states see the immigration problem as a federal one as they are politically controlled by business interests that want a huge pool of low-wage workers. The Kansas Supreme Court has essentially said that being illegal is a federal problem and they aren't going to mess with you within the state. Kansas also gives illegal aliens in-state tuition at state universities, whereas legal non-state residents of the U.S. have to pay out-of-state tuition.

Why is Kansas so lenient about immigration? Well, if live within a thousand miles of Kansas and eat beef or pork there is a good chance that the corn that fed the animal has been grown by a Mexican and the animal itself has been raised, butchered, and packed by a Mexican in a building built by a Mexican. Kansas likes it's low-wage Mexicans.

Do they bring crime to the area? You bet they do. Not all of them, mind you, but there is a substantial criminal element, usually drug and/or theft-based that follows the migrants. I worked EMS in a small city that should have had no crime to speak of considering its size but it had a packing plant in it and I went on as many stabbing, shooting, drug OD, and rape/assault runs as I did when I worked in Kansas City.

That's not to say that it's Mexicans causing all of the problems. I grew up in a small town, and by small I mean that we had 16 in my graduating class -- eight boys and eight girls. Several of the kids within a grade or two of me are now dead and/or in jail because of drugs, and it wasn't any Mexican that got them started cooking meth or selling it -- it was their own greed and stupidity.

The small town about 50 miles away that I grew up in, and in which my parents still live, is now about 1/3 Mexican. The kids, however, are U.S. citizens, though almost all of them have parents who were born in Mexico. What does this do for the local economy? Well, when I was a kid the town had a bank, two grocery stores, two gas stations, a drug store, a café, a dry-goods store, a hardware store, a feed store, a bar, and a lumber yard. Now it has a bank extension that has only drive-up service and a convenience store operated by a farmer pretty much at a loss just so there would be somewhere for people to get food and gas without having to drive twenty miles. The only thing that's keeping the town alive is the school, and the only thing that is keeping the school there is the Mexican-American kids. Without those kids the school would have been shut down long ago and there would have been only one town left in the entire southwestern county of the state.

I'm just saying that the issue is much more complex and requires considerable effort in order to resolve and/or adapt to, rather than just knee-jerk reaction opinion.

Employers simply love fluently bi-lingual Spanish-English speakers. When they ask what language to take, I always tell my students to study Spanish. Like it or not the Spanish language is here in America to stay. I myself am too old to learn a new language -- it takes a young mind, usually under 25 before the synapses are fully developed to easily do so. However, if you are fluent in Spanish as well as English you are almost guaranteed to be hired for a law enforcement, social services, teaching, or health care job if you otherwise qualify.

The win was that his rights were not violated. As I said, I will not give up my rights for the sake of convenience. As to the stop I referred to, It was also over in about 10 minutes. The cop apparently immediately got the message that I was not going to be a pushover.
