Nice!! I go by Maryville often. My wife’s parents live right outside of Knoxville.

I tell ya, it's definitely one of those subtle changes that looks better the more you see it, especially in person. As I've said, the vinyl just doesn't make any sense to me there. It's almost like it's trying to serve a purpose that doesn't exist. The first time I saw it in person I just wondered why. It is different and it does separate it from a 2nd gen. But for me that's about it.

All right, time for me to ask another question about something ;) For those of you that have replaced your bed side decals and bought them from other members of this forum, is the quality of the replacements equal to the stock ones? I want to replace mine eventually I think but I want to make sure they aren't going to fade or look worn after a few years

I'll keep him in mind when the time comes. My goal is to make my truck all black/orange with no chrome or any other color. But, for the feaux emblems, I may make one exception and have the TRD letters gray. I still don't know what color I want to do on those though lol

They aren't too difficult to replace either. I'm proud of myself and smile when i see mine as i designed, cut, and installed them. Turned out great. I had small bubbles at first, but they come out. I popped sponge with a small needle without hitting the paint underneath.

    Did them awhile back. ..

Oh, and i used matte 951 based on this recommendation from a well known vinyl expert on this forum...

"I mainly use matte black 951 for the exterior inlays and inserts. Matte has a longer durability rating (more UV protection) than gloss."

It seems very durable and time will tell. Funny thing is, if it only lasts a couple of years, I'll just redo it and have fun with it.

I designed a bunch of test beside stickers.

I ended up going with these to see how I like them. One is laminated the other isn't. They are printed on a clear with a gerber edge. Next set are going to be a little smaller and Ill take my time and do a little better install.

I love the black and inferno color combo. Although the brushed copper or gold wheels still call my name...
