Well my son got offered the job in Portland yesterday. And turned it down They came in $10K less than he told them he wanted in the beginning but still $20K more than he is making now. Of course with a lot more hours, I don't think he realizes how many more. Was offered a lot of stock options they are going public soon but that is always a crap shoot I know from experience. Still wish he would have accepted it. Chicago and Boston didn't extend an offer so he is starting to search again.

I thought he was crazy based on some of the numbers he was talking about. So went back and looked at my social security wages. At age 30 same as he is now I was making $16k a year in 1988. With inflation that is $33K a year now. So guess he really isn't as crazy as I thought. What they offered is still a heck of a lot of money though.

He is obviously confident and knows what he wants.

Yay move more stuff day

 

Supposed to be in the mid 40's here today.
Think I'll give the vehicles a much needed bath this afternoon.

 

Snow's coming Monday, so after some light offroading last Wednesday I got the $4 "I'VE BEEN ROBBED OF $4" auto-wash to clear off some of the mud at least.
