Morning folks... finally got a day off 18 straight graveyards.

 

And your awake....?

 

Sleep is over rated.. gotta spend some time with my wife. I’ve barely seen her in the last 3 weeks. Starting another 18 nights on Monday night.

 

That's how the night shift do.

 

Understand, that's a lot of nights in a row.

 

Yep I remember it just took me a day to turn it around to be up during the day, never did quite got used to it.

 

That’s nothing when I was with Brown and Root I’d easily do 120 in a row without a day off. This job I have now has made me lazy compared to that. Old schedule was 120 on 14 off for 2 rotations then 120 on 30 off. I worked that for 8-9 years.

Took me all over the world. Wouldn’t trade a day of it. Some places I’ve seen and people I’ve met along the way. Most people would never even imagine.

 

Mixed bag of all kinds of construction and maintenance work.

 

Ahhh, jack of all trades, master of none....

 

Ah. Not too bad then. Was thinking domestic as well.

I got offered a job like that post Navy. Oil field related but global. Said i'd be gone around the world about 85-90% of the year... If I was single I'd have actually thought harder about it

I’m clocked in till 3. At “work” not really doing much of anything.
