Assume it would not be hard to modify a US truck to activate this?

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
If you want to wash the crap off of your windshield you will.

lol, I agree... but the 5 year old in me decided that my Taco needed to be able to say it had a gasshole. That thread is the most ridiculous fun I’ve had since 4th grade.

From what I have read elsewhere on TW, it is highly likely that there is no similarity between the US and Canadian models on this item. I have read that they completely shut down the line and restart to run Canadian Tacomas due to the parts/differences. So, things like wire trace, dash indicator, etc. may not even be present.

I'm pretty sure reading through this thread the first time the consensus was that there was no low washer fluid light. I plugged my soon to be delivered Tacoma into the Toyota Owners website. It gives illustrations for each light, I noticed one for the washer fluid. I'm in the US..

My electronic manual says "(Canada Only)" and further says "*4 This light illuminates on the multi-information display".

EDIT: I would try the key on method, but that reference means I won't know until I'm out of fluid.

Just like the old days... when I left my dad's locking gas cap on a pump 3 hours away... Yea, asking for the vehicle again was awkward from then on.

If one uses windshield wiper fluid on a daily/regular bases, then one would need to check said fluid on a frequent basis.:kona:

    Was about to say yes.
But I guess Americans are too free to be told by their truck they need washer fluid lol

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
What next? Do we need a light on the toilet paper roll in our batrooms so we know when that gets low too.
