I suspect that was an assembled price, taking into account wheels, tires, and labor for putting it together. The kit comes with assembly required and without wheels and tires the full price is 4,999. I think it's 6,200 w/ wheels and tires. So, 4wp seems to have tacked on over 2K for their magic services. There was a company that was offering a discount code on it, and shipping is free, but requires either a loading dock or fork lift at delivery, or having it delivered to a hub. I'm going to check and see if the discount code is still good or not and decide from there. I saw where one guy got 15% off and was able to order it without wheels/tires, as that company normally only sells the wheeled version. So, for less than 5k it's kind of hard to beat unless someone makes one themselves. Which, is of course Smittybilts reason for that price point. I did think about a pop up, and heavily modifying it, but I'm not sure how well it would handle some rough roads and tighter trails. With 2 RTT's and this trailer, it would give me a number of options. I can go with the trailer and 2 RTT's while the kiddos are still around, and later on when it's just me and the wife, we can choose to either take the trailer or go lighter, minus the trailer, for short trips etc. If I just don't get the use I need from it, then I can always sell it later on.

How’s it going? I’m about to travel overseas tomorrow to a place I’ve not been to yet...so I’m a little anxious. But I’ve been sketchier countries so I think I’ll be ok
