What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Since you posted both here and in the LED thread, I'll reply to both, too. I really hate to tell you this now, but the license plate light lenses pop off from the outside -- I used a pocket knife to get under the edge. Pry gently and you won't break anything. Then you can just take the OEM bulbs out o the sockets and plug in the new ones. Then snap the lenses back on.

 

How did you get that tree to grow on the top of your rack? Do you have clearance issues with your garage, bridges, drive-thru's, etc? Do you have to water it manually, or did you install a water port?

 

What gun lock did you use and did this require any modification?

 

I am for the time being. I'm waiting until I see more features, like wireless Android Auto, out of aftermarket touchscreens. My full audio install is in my signature but I have 6.75" Kicker QSS674 components up front.

Yea, me and gentle are like oil & water. I was going to try it but when I got under the truck I said let's do this. I just felt like if anyone was going to break a lens it would be me.

Yep, from Meso. Mirrors were White when I bought them.

No sorry I don't have pic, but if I look at passenger side dash speaker grille u will see bout 1/2inch circle, that's it. You have to take the 2 10mm bolts out of the grab handle on a pillar and pop a pillar cover off, then carefully pry up speaker grille, pop filler plug out wrap it with black tape and reinstall it all, check for white rub spots on a pillar and speaker grille, this will also be source of rattle for some. Mine had no rub spots and tape took care of rattle. I'm sure there are posts with pics on here as that rattle is well known.

 

I'm on the waiting list for 6112's up front so I haven't done anything yet. I am thinking I'm just going to be leveling the front out and leaving the rear springs stock for a while. I'm going for more of the Pro stance and will hopefully be installing some 255/85r16's in the not too distant future.

Does anyone have pics of their tufskinz interior foam inserts? I’m trying to put in the piece in the front and it keeps bowing, not sure if I’m not doing it right or what. Sorry for the crappy pic.

I think I'm going to pry the lens covers off. Just going to wait until temps warm up so the plastic is less brittle.
